I was chatting on the phone yesterday with a good friend. She was helping me with advice on a recent problem that has surfaced in my life. We had a great talk. It was a sojourn of a conversation — with left and right turns. In the end, we didn’t S.O.L.V.E my problem. Time, effort, sweat and a little luck will solve my problem.
Stepping out of the house this morning, and walking toward the driveway — I was confronted by two little rose buds, who do NOT know it’s November. Keep blossoming, little rosebuds. You are not alone. Many of us never know when to quit. It’s a GOOD trait! It’s called tenacity!! #100happydays (16/100)
LOL, Joan — it took waaaaay too long, but Peter and I finally sat down over Thanksgiving weekend and worked the Maui puzzle you gave us over a year ago! It was fun…and frustrating…and enjoyable….and frustrating.. 🙂
With Thanksgiving behind us, I like to take this beautiful Friday and begin what should be referred to as “Christmas Card & Holiday Card” season. Oh, the joy! Christmas trees, colorful twinkle lights AND christmas and holiday cards! It really can’t get any better.
Happy Thanksgiving!! I’m up early — a creature of habit. My plans are to stay home today, cook a turkey for Peter and myself, and (of course) — watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Ohhhh…she’s in there! Our little 12-pound heirloom bronze turkey. Right there next to the milk and the pink champagne. Hey, gotta have priorities in life! All ready for tomorrow. BRING ON THE HOLIDAYS!! #100happydays (12/100)
I’m not feeling well today — but still manage to find happiness in my favorite, warm blanket! #100happydays (11/100)
It’s Monday. Not my favorite day. Heading out early — to a day — ugh, one my mom would call “a mixed bag”. Some good, some bad. So it’s a day to be brave. To be courageous. To remember that today, Monday, any “mixed bag” day, is just a “place holder” day. An opportunity for tomorrow. A day to practice your “looking forward skills”!! #100happydays (10/100)
On a chilly Sunday morning like today — I easily light a fire in the fireplace and sit nearby with my 1st cup of coffee and bask in the warmth. It’s just four days before Thanksgiving, and you can almost feel the ‘thankfulness” level rising.
Here’s to a chilly fall weekend, and a ‘new” old discovery on Netflix. Season 1 – WOW!
