100 Days of Happiness (34/100)

One of my a.b.s.o.l.u.t.e.l.y. favorite things — is decorating the Christmas Tree.  Oh, it’s the best!  It’s wonderful!  It’s fun!  I love LOVE L.O.V.E looking at all the ornaments and telling the stories about where they came from, and why, and who, and ahhh….it’s just perfect! <3

We are waiting this year – until Erin comes home from Dublin – to decorate the tree.  So the boxes are still in the basement, waiting, waiting, waiting.  And I’m upstairs, in the house, waiting, waiting….waiting!  Then all of a sudden, in a kitchen cabinet, I find this adorable blue box.

Have you ever received something WONDERFUL….but then forgotten?

This happened to me, today.  Just when I needed it.

I opened that adorable little box, and inside was a gift that Erin and Peter bought for me when they were in Holland in April during Erin’s Spring Break.  Sooo much has happened this year.  It’s HARD to even remember sometimes that last April, Erin was still in High School, and on a Spring Break trip with her Dad.  But they were.  And somewhere along their journey they found a precious little something….that made my day today.

LOVE!  and Holland!  #100happydays (34/100)

About Diane

Ciao! My name is Diane. I'm a wife, a mom, a working professional, and a Weight Watcher from New Jersey. I started blogging in 2011, at 45 years old, when I was training for my first Half Marathon at Rutgers on April 22, 2012. Since then, I've lost 80 pounds, completed my Half Marathon goal and gone on to train for and run my very first Full Marathon. On Jan 13, 2013, I ran the Disney Marathon in Orlando, Fl! What an incredible day. As the saying goes -- "The person who starts the race is not the same person who finishes the race." I am forever changed! So now we move on to the next phase of this journey! Come along. We're in this together!! Ciao for now!
