365 Days of Happiness (172/365)

The walls of my mother’s house expanded again today.  Caitlin moved out of her dorm at Rollins, her sophomore year is over!  She too is home again!   Our little old chocolate lab Jewel is (perhaps) having the hardest time adjusting.  This is her first time at my mom’s house in Florida.  She fared really well on the drive down – with frequent stops to eat, drink, stretch and take care of biz!

Here at the house, my mom’s dog Summer, is anxious to be friends.  I give them a few more days and the deal will be sealed.  Sonny….he’s a different story.  This little old Jack Russell terrier has decided to snip and bite Jewel every time she walks by.  You are walking on thin ice old man…..consider this your second warning!

The painful irony is…..every time I let Jewel out the back door to do her biz.. after her little pee…..she walks toward our Forerunner and waits.  As if to say…..”Mommy, I’ve had enough of this….Let’s Go Home”.

Ohhh…with a lump in my throat, I coax her back inside.  This is just a stop-over baby.  But Home….well…um….just stick with me sweetheart.  You will be Okay.   Mommy Promises.  #ChooseHappiness365 (172/365)

Ciao for now….Diane
