The world lost a bit of magic yesterday. The beautiful one, Prince, died yesterday.
As children of the 80’s….Prince was ours. I say that, but he belongs to all of us, all generations. Even as young girls. my daughters experienced Prince, through me. Raspberry Beret, Little Red Corvette, Purple Rain, and my favorite, The Most Beautiful Girl In The World.
He was a poet, a musical genius, who transcended generations, culture, race, gender……he found a way to speak to all of us. His message? Oh, don’t rely on me (or anyone else) to tell you …. go, spend time with Prince and listen to the words from the master himself.
Live your life, on your terms. Be kind to one another. Be YOU. And don’t wait. Life is fragile, and we never know how many days any one of us will get. Go Be Bold. And remember the Purple One.
