When I finished the Marathon in January, our family hopped a plane back to “real life” – back to New Jersey, back to work, and school. The words my Erin expressed at the finish line, “I’d like to run a marathon someday…” blew off into the Florida breeze…or so I thought!
I don’t want to make any big momentus announcement. I just want to start again … at the beginning. So when 2013 is over, I will be able to look back and feel like I made progress. I will remember it fondly. Ahhh, 2013 ….yea, that was a good year. April is as good a month as any for le démarrage!!!!
Back from Paris — after a w.o.n.d.e.r.f.u.l. week. I can’t think of a bad moment. It was all great or amazing. Getting up early this morning wasn’t bad. Getting on the scale today…..well… that was a bit harder.
It has been amazing — but it’s time for us to go home!
We’re heading to the home of Marie Antoinette! The Palace of Versailles.

Disneyland Paris. We couldn’t resist checking it out. Yea, we’re crazy. But it was a great train ride through France. What’s wrong with that??

Our plan for today is to tour the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triumph. Hey, if I accidentally fall into the Louis Vuitton store — who could blame me, right?
I’ve been battling a terrible stomach flu, and I’m finally feeling better. Which is better than good, because……we’re heading to Paris for Spring Break.
