Steve Jobs…..I hope you are up there in heaven, inventing amazing cool things and inspiring the angels to do what they love.  Down here, my iPhone 5s broke.   Planned obsolesced much???   The speaker in my phone just gave way.  So I went to the Verizon store and got a new phone.  I WANTED the iPhone 6SE — the smaller size — but apparently they are still on the slow boat to America.  Couldn’t be phone-less until June, so now I have a small TV in my purse.  I’m sure I will LOVE it a month from now.

The walls of my mother’s house expanded again today.  Caitlin moved out of her dorm at Rollins, her sophomore year is over!  She too is home again!   Our little old chocolate lab Jewel is (perhaps) having the hardest time adjusting.  This is her first time at my mom’s house in Florida.  She fared really well on the drive down – with frequent stops to eat, drink, stretch and take care of biz!

Seeing Erin again today was wonderful.  Scooping her up out of her dorm with her stuff and taking her with us — even better!   We are driving to Florida in two vehicles, packed with everything we own that didn’t go to storage.  Peter is driving the Forerunner with Erin and Jewel (in her kennel) as passengers.  I’m driving the Camry with my iPod loaded with every tune I have ever loved from 1980 to present.

I’m writing to you tonight from the comfort of our blow-up mattress, on the floor of our luxurious empty master bedroom.   I kinda got a grumble-growl from my 6’1″ husband when he laid down and his feet stuck out of the bottom.  Come onnnnn baby — curl up and cuddle tonight Peter…..Moving is like camping…(not glamping)…it’s an adventure!
