O.S.C.A.R.S. 2016 — Bring It On!  All of it.  The movie stars, the red carpet, the song and dance, and the golden statues!  I love it all.  Tonight is the night.

I’ve always been a fan of the underdog.  So — my favorites likely have no chance of winning — but let me tell you what I loved this year.

Saoirse Ronan in Brooklyn!  A movie about bravery, gentleness, claiming one’s dreams in this BIG COLD WORLD.

I love Saoirse.  I hope she wins best actress.  I will be cheering her on, with my gratitude for my favorite movie of the year.
