Up early before the sun today.  No reason.  It’s what my body and mind wanted, so — g.o.o.d. m.o.r.n.i.n.g!

First things first — I stepped out the back door onto the patio to let Jewel out into the yard for her morning “business”.   A brisk chill stung my cheeks, but not enough to chase me inside.  Good thing too, because it was then that I heard them.

All the birds.  Filling the February morning air with the chirps of their birdsong.  I could hear their message, loud & clear… “Spring is coming!”

Well, we may have a few more blind dates with snow flurries before then, but …. I think my friends the birds are on to something!  Our windows will be opening soon!  #ChooseHappiness365 (101/365)
